The Gathang Garuwaga team will share their experiences of delivering the community-based language program in Karuah and surrounds (on Worimi country). This was a Muurrbay project, led by Gathang-speaking community members, and funded by the Aboriginal Languages Trust (ALT). Gathang Garuwaga was developed in response to a need for Gathang language learning on the Karuah mission and for their extended families. The program grew into a largely online-based learning program for community including engaging animated resources.
