Gamification of language learning for acquisition and retention of a language in revitalisation

Gamification is often put forward as a pedological option for language learning and considered in the development of digital resources for language revitalization efforts. This presentation details a research project that applied experimental methodology in the application of gamification elements to test the acquisition and retention of language within a language revitalization context and further draws assertions on learner motivation.
