TAFE NSW has supported the revival and maintenance of Aboriginal Languages by providing training of Aboriginal Language qualifications since 2007. All Aboriginal Language courses are delivered by fully qualified and experienced Aboriginal Language Teachers. Training has been provided either face to face, or by virtual classroom across the state. In the last 4 years 943 students have completed either a Certificate 1, Certificate II or Certificate III in Aboriginal Language. Learning takes place in a culturally safe environment, allowing students to thrive and reach their goal of language acquisition.
